The V-Mount interface locks the battery to matching equipment or a regulated plate, keeping a mobile build cleaner than an AC run. Choose capacity according to the device’s real draw and the duration of the take; a larger watt-hour rating generally means more runtime, but not a guarantee without knowing the load. Use the smallest practical battery on handheld or gimbal builds, then step up for longer monitor, camera, or lighting duty. Check voltage and connector requirements before connecting D-Tap or USB-powered accessories, and secure all cables so they cannot strain a port. Spare lithium batteries require transport planning: the FAA says spare lithium batteries must travel in carry-on baggage, and airlines may impose further limits. Confirm brands, outputs, chargers, and quantities with the rental team.
