The Aputure Lantern 90 is a 90 cm, Bowens-mount softbox designed to turn a compatible point-source fixture into a broad, nearly all-around source. Its round lantern form is well suited to overhead room ambience, interviews, tabletop work, and soft key light where a conventional forward-facing softbox would look too directional. The supplied diffusion softens the source while preserving useful coverage across a large area. Use the removable control skirt to keep light off walls, ceilings, lens paths, or parts of the set that should stay dark. Mount the modifier only on a properly supported compatible fixture, and allow clearance around the light for safe operation. It is an efficient choice when the goal is an enveloping, natural-feeling pool of soft light rather than a hard, narrowly aimed beam.
