RossTarrant Architects engaged us to tell the story of the STEAM Academy as a lived learning environment—not simply a portfolio of finished rooms. Interviews and observational footage connect the design of the school to the students, educators and partners who use it every day.
The finished film gave RossTarrant a long-form case study that could communicate the thinking behind the space through real voices and real activity. Its design coverage was specific enough that a furniture partner involved in the building later contacted us after seeing how the project’s interiors and educational environment were represented.
We handled production and post-production across a months-long process that included interview transcription, story selection, string-outs and multiple editorial review rounds. The team allowed the structure to evolve as the interviews revealed the story the film needed to tell, investing additional editorial time to make the final piece stronger.
The approach combines carefully composed architectural images with active classroom material and personal interviews, showing the building as a framework for collaboration, creativity and hands-on learning rather than as an empty architectural showcase.
