Innovative Mobile Architecture is a design-profile film for NOMI Design, a Lexington-based studio working across design, fabrication and built environments. The film follows the practice through close observation of people, materials and process, showing how a mobile and adaptable approach can carry an idea from concept into a physical experience.
Instead of treating the work as a static portfolio, the story stays close to the designers and makers: examining details, testing decisions and moving between studio thinking and the finished result.
RAPT handled the project end to end, beginning with principal photography in October 2022 and returning for targeted pickup material before moving through rough-cut and final-cut post-production in early 2023.
The visual language pairs controlled interviews and portraiture with tactile process imagery. Tight compositions on tools, surfaces and architectural details make the craft legible, while wider views place that work inside NOMI’s larger design and fabrication practice.
